New Video Highlights CFMEU Tactics as Industry Insider Speaks Out for the First Time.

A construction industry insider, Grant Fuller, has spoken out about being intimidated by CFMEU officials, describing the union as "the worst kind of bully." Fuller, who works as a health and safety contractor, recounted two incidents on a Melbourne road project where he alleges the CFMEU used intimidation tactics.

His comments come after the federal government introduced new legislation aimed at the union's construction division, which has faced criticism for its alleged links to criminal activity and bullying. The Fair Work Commission has requested the Federal Court to appoint an independent administrator to oversee the union.

Workplace Relations Minister Murray Watt said the government needed to intervene because the union wasn't likely to cooperate with Fair Work regulations.

Despite fears of retaliation, Fuller decided to go public, saying the union's behavior is damaging the construction industry. "There’s a real risk in speaking out, but the impact on the industry is too great to stay silent. This kind of behavior has no place on our work sites."
